The core of this organization was established in 1992 by several network administrators who's systems were constantly under attack. Frustrated by the lack of information on defending our own networks we worked together to developed software and systems to protect our infrastructures and data. With our success we realized that there was a need for professionals in what would become the field of Information Security.
