                        Identity theft is currently the largest threat to businesses around the world. The ease at which average people with very little experience are breaching companies to acquire customer and employee information is proof that most companies are not prepared for the modern reality of information security. Just about everyday you can find articles about law enforcement stumbling on people with large numbers of personal information. This information is found in the hands of kids, crime rings, moms, and everyday joe's. These people are not hackers. They are not sophisticated in any way. They do not cover their tracks, and yet companies go weeks and months without knowing that anything has happened. Every business is now a target. From retail stores to financial institutions, from home computers to large government networks. We all have to be prepared to meet this threat.
